About EAA Chapter 40

EAA Chapter 40 represents the San Fernando Valley area of Southern California, and includes the Van Nuys (KVNY), Burbank (KBUR) and Whiteman (KWHP) airports. If you have a love of aviation and a desire to meet others with that same passion, consider joining our group. You'll find a wealth of experience in our members, and a willingness to help others. You don't have to own an airplane. You don't have to be building one. You don't even have to be a pilot.

Chapter Meetings

You don't have to be a member to come to one of our Chapter meetings; everyone is invited! Stop by and see what our organization has to offer. Meetings are usually held at Whiteman Airport on the third Saturday of each month, at Rocky's restaurant. You can order breakfast and enjoy your meal during the meeting. Young Eagles

EAA40 has a very active Young Eagles program. This program provides free airplane rides to children ages 8 to 17. Check here for more information about this program. We usually hold a Young Eagles event every month at Whiteman airport, on the fourth Saturday of the month. We have flown thousands of kids so far!
